Due to the snowy weather, there will be a two hour delayed start of school today. That means that schools will open two hours after their usual time and buses will pick up students two hours after their regular times. There are no before school programs and PreK classes are cancelled. We will still have our regular Wednesday early release at the usual times. Again, we will have a two hour delayed start of school in Westbrook today. Take your time and be safe coming to school today!

We will also post information on channel 6, 8, and 13, the school department website, and the school department social media. Saccarappa celebrated Safe, Ready, and Respectful behavior last week with a Movement Break Party! Each class submitted their favorite movement break video, and then each grade came to the cafeteria and had a chance to get their wiggles out with friends. Well done, Shining Stars!

Saccarappa is thankful for our community partners. Last week, the Altrusa Club of Portland visited our kindergarten classes to read and hand out books to the students. The students also enjoyed blankets donated by the Warm Hugs group at Westbrook-Warren Congregational Church. Thank you to all of the local organizations who go above and beyond to support Westbrook Schools.
