The WRVC Criminal Justice program is proud to once again kick off our annual Giving Tree program this year. We are sponsoring several local families identified in the Greater Portland Area, and the goal is to provide essential items and gifts to ensure these families have a bright and joyous holiday.
"Our class is focused on understanding the law and all aspects of Criminal Justice, but a huge part of justice is serving the community," said Criminal Justice Instructor, OFC Jason Kopp. "This program lets us put our commitment to public service into action and make a real, positive impact right here in our community.” “This program is completely student-run as part of their community service education.”
📝 How It Works & How YOU Can Help
Look for the Tree: The "Giving Tree" is set up in the lobby at WRVC.
Pick a Tag: Each ornament tag represents a specific item or gift for the sponsored families.
Give a Gift: Purchase the item on the tag and return it unwrapped (with the tag) to WRVC by 12/16/25
If you are unable to stop in, you may also make a monetary donation in the form of a check, cash, or gift card(s). Please make checks payable to the Westbrook School Department.
We greatly appreciate any and all help you can provide for our students and families. Community service is a huge aspect of our mission in teaching students the importance of community care and support while training them to be eventual Criminal Justice pioneers. A few dollars could bring a lasting smile to a child this year. We appreciate your support.
All donations are 100% anonymous and will directly benefit local families.
