What a fun author visit we had at WMS yesterday! Our very own Val Bennett, retired Social Studies teacher came back to share her book with us. "Lidu's Awakening" is set in the dawn of humans and is an exciting story about a young hunter/gatherer. Val shared her writing process and some encouraging words with our students. Thanks, Val!
