Students at dance field trip

It is so wonderful that we can once again take our students on field trips to gain important experiential learning.  In the coming weeks, our 5th graders are going back to Strawbery Banke in Portsmouth, we have our GT students going to Boda Borg in Boston and today our Level 2  8th graders (did you know we have an advanced class for 8th graders?) and the high school Spanish 4 class went to the Concord Auditorium in New Hampshire for the Hispanic Flamenco Ballet show. Here is the report from Ms. Peabody, our Spanish Teacher:

The show was absolutely incredible and demonstrated the remarkably diverse dances of the Hispanic and Latin world. It was such a great experience for the students to see them first-hand.

The students were incredibly well behaved on the bus and during the show.  We even had four students from our schools go up on stage at the end of the show for the interactive portion.

Thank you for this opportunity to share a little culture with our students.

Thank you to Ms. Peabody and to the chaperones for creating this engaging learning experience for our World Language students!
