Blazes Nation! JMG is organizing a "Ted-Talk" style speaker series in conjunction with Idexx. Our first speaker is November 12th.
Speaker: Dr. Jeremy Hammond
Topic: "From Outer Space to Microscopy - imaging"
Abstract: A journey from a local town in Maine to training as a rocket scientist, and then continued education on sensors and bio-systems engineering, resulting in a long tenure at IDEXX across multiple platforms. This talk will provide an overview of Dr. Hammond's background, education and professional journey from Maine to Florida and back to Maine.
Special thanks to IDEXX for bring this series to WHS, and especially to Westbrook's own Dr. Asante Malima of IDEXX for approaching us with this idea! -Go Blue!
