Westbrook High School

The WHS Unified Basketball Team capped off an undefeated season last Tuesday in front of a capacity crowd. WHS staff filled up the stands and filled up the gym with vociferous encouragement of our team. The team was undefeated this year in terms of its win/loss record to be sure, but the more important, albeit less quantifiable statistic, is their undefeated spirit. No team, or any collection of people for that matter, exudes more positivity and support for one another than this crew. It starts at the top with coaches Allison Carmichael and Mike Russell, who imbue their players and student mentors with selflessness on a whole other level. It is truly remarkable. Congratulations to everyone involved with WHS Unified on another spectacular season!
