Last week Maine Commissioner of Education, Pender Makin, took time out of her incredibly busy schedule to come to WHS and meet with our EDU 100 class. Students had an opportunity to ask the Commissioner questions, and Ms. Makin had an opportunity to see a one-of-a-kind program that aims to develop “home grown” teachers.
