WHS

Coach Sam Johnson and the Blazes had a home playoff game scheduled for last Friday. It was rescheduled to this Tuesday (Halloween!) at 7pm. Come out to Historic Olmstead Field in your costume and see the football team take on the Deering Rams. At stake is a trip to the Southern Maine semi-finals. Athletic Director Beth Murphy will donate the money raised at the gate to the family of Peyton Brewer-Ross, a WHS graduate of the Class of 2001, who was killed in the mass shooting in Lewiston.

The Sock n' Buskins Drama Club was forced to reschedule Twisted Tales of Poe until this Wednesday, 11/1, at 7pm in the WHS Auditorium. That will be the only performance, so clear your calendars and get ready to be spooked! Director Keith Anctil and the club will also donate the proceeds from their event to the Brewer-Ross family.

The WHS Marching Band & Color Guard will be competing at the State Band Championship at Sanford High School this Saturday, 11/4.
