The first week of school was super! Students settled into their schedules and reacquainted themselves with the routine of school. A huge shoutout to our amazing staff in the Student Services Department, who have been working their magic to make sure students' schedules are We all survived perhaps the hottest opening week of school on record. A big "Thank you!" to Dr. Lancia, who helped us all beat the heat by providing ice pops on the hottest day. All in all, we are off and running, and there is already a lot of positive momentum.
WHS Athletics has also had a really strong start with exciting action in all sports! Congratulations to the Volleyball Team on their big win over Maranacook last Thursday! And the Blaze burns brightly in other sports too – Soccer, Football, Field Hockey, Golf, Cross Country, and Cheering.
