It is the last week of the Bikes for Books program. Submissions are due on Monday, April 22nd, and winners will be announced on the 29th.
Earning an entry is easy! Students just need to read five short books or 100 pages and complete an entry slip. If you can't print the entry slips, then merely write your child's name, teacher, and the title of the book on a piece of paper and return it to school on the 22nd with your child.
Thank you to the Mason Saccarappa Lodge for once again sponsoring Bikes for Books. This program runs through each of Westbrook's elementary schools and aims to motivate students to read with a chance to win a brand-new bike! Two students in each grade K-4 will be awarded a bike and helmet at each school. Thank you, Masons!
