Cupid visited Saccarappa School over the weekend and covered the hallways and common areas from floor to ceiling with hearts. To say the students and staff were surprised when they arrived Monday morning is a vast understatement. The decorations were the perfect way to start the week and celebrate Valentine's Day.
Earlier this fall, Mrs. Jones was approached by a community member who asked if she and her team could decorate the school under the guise of Cupid. Fast forward a few months, and sure enough, a small crew showed up Sunday afternoon with bins of handmade decorations and a desire to adorn.
The Westbrook community once again demonstrates its love for the kids and partnership with the schools. Westbrook is a beautiful place to learn and grow, and Cupid is yet another example of how the city supports its children. Thank you, Cupid!
