At our most recent assembly, we celebrated our work with Integrity for the month of February. Students were challenged to 200 acts of integrity by earning superheroes. Students earned 211 superheroes, so we will be celebrating with a whole-school PJ Day on Friday, March 8th.
We also rolled out our new theme of Perseverance. Students learned what it means to persevere and what that can look like at school. In the spirit of Read Across America, we listened to A Little Spot of Perseverance by Diane Alber. Our cougars are challenged to 350 acts of perseverance where they will be earning spots to "grow their perseverance spot," just like the character in A Little Spot of Perseverance.
