Empathy

Congin Cougars have empathy! It's a new month, so that means a new theme. We had an assembly today where we were able to celebrate our work with responsibility! Congin Cougars earned 602 letter bubbles for responsibility for the month of October! They worked so hard. Due to their hard work, we will be having a school-wide PJ and Crocs day!

We then rolled out our new theme of empathy. Students learned that empathy is putting ourselves in other people's shoes to understand what they are feeling/going through. Our friends at Locker Project came to talk about how they help our community by donating food. Congin's challenge for this month is a snack drive, where we will be donating snacks that we will be able to give back to the Locker Project at the end of the month. Our goal is 350 snacks. Check out the flyer for options that you can donate if you are able to!

Our Congin Cougars did a great job!
