The unveiling of the mural created by our students based on what they have learned over the past couple of months working with The Local Stories Project and their teachers and classmates was a huge success! All of the presentation and the mural were created by our students and facilitated by Laurie and Gretchen from The Local Stories Project! The Grade 4 teaching team, Mrs. Nugent, Mrs. Hyfield and Mrs. Pecoraro, brought in speakers and took our students on trips to learn as much as they could with real life experiences that students journaled about and then created this visual masterpiece to represent. It will be permanently hung in the Congin School Library, so check it out when you visit! Thank you to the Warren Memorial Foundation for supporting this project, too!
