Dear friends,
It's the last day of school! On behalf of the entire Westbrook School community, I would like to say thank you to our students, families, and staff for a wonderful school year. As we continued to emerge from the pandemic, we worked together to rebuild, renew, and move forward. Our commitment to supporting all students is stronger than ever, and we can all of proud of that. We will continue to post news about our schools on the website and send information through notifications throughout the summer, especially as the new school year approaches.
A few things to note:
* Summer Lunches are served Monday through Friday from June 26 - August 11 at locations throughout the city. Meals are free for all children through age 19. Check the website for times and locations.
* The School Book Mobile runs every Monday throughout the city. Check the website for times and locations. Do lots of reading with books from the Bookmobile or from Walker Memorial Library.
* Targeted Summer School programs begin the week of June 26. Contact your schools for more information.
* We will be accepting new student registrations throughout the summer, including kindergarten and PreK registration. Please contact our Registrar Mrs. Lentz at 854-0810 or the Administrative Offices at 854-0800 to register.
* School offices will be closed beginning July 3. Offices reopen on August 14.
I wish you all a great summer break! Enjoy the outdoors, read lots of great books, be safe if you are traveling, and spend plenty of time relaxing with family and friends.
