Open House tonight for students and families in Grades K-4 here at Canal School from 5-6. We will gather outside the atrium for a cool treat and then have time to visit classrooms and meet teachers.

Friday, October 31st is Book Character Day at Canal. Students are encouraged to dress as their favorite book character and throughout the day students will participate in several book related stations as part of our Booktober event.
The Northern Stars event scheduled for tomorrow has been postponed to Thursday, December 11th to due weather.
Reminder - Tomorrow from 2-4pm at Canal School is the Fall Festival. There will be a bunch of games for the kids to play and win prizes, clothing and food to take for free, and lots of fun. Canal T-Shirts and some light concessions will be for sale. We hope you can join us!

Due to a teacher workshop day on Friday, October 10th and Indigenous Peoples' Day on Monday, October 13th, there will be NO school for all students these two days.

Last night the Westbrook School Committee approved a request to adjust the school calendar. The last day of school for the year will be on Friday, June 13 with dismissal at 10:15am at WMS, 10:25am at WHS, and 11:25am at the elementary schools.
