The Westbrook School Department seeks a dynamic instructional leader to serve as the next principal of Congin Elementary School. The successful candidate will demonstrate the following qualities and areas of experience:

Make decisions with a child-centered focus;
Recognize every child's social, emotional, and academic need
Understand elementary teaching and learning, especially in literacy and numeracy
Use data in monitoring achievement and guiding continuous progress;
Have experience with teaching both children and adults;
Monitor school finances responsibly;
Work collaboratively with the school staff and district leadership team;
Maintain and manage the highest standards for oneself and others.
