Comprehensive Education
Plans
On an annual basis,
Westbrook schools develop goals to guide their
work in the coming school year. These
goals are gathered into a document entitled the
Comprehensive Education Plan. The purpose
of the plan is to ensure that each student meets
the content standards of the Learning Results.
Through long-range planning, the Comprehensive
Education Plan identifies the various resources,
instructional methods, curriculum and
assessments necessary for implementation of the
system of Learning Results.
These documents are the
2006 - 2007 progress report and 2007 - 2008 plan
for each school. Because each
individual school’s needs are different from
those of other schools, readers will find
differences in the plans. Each school has
developed a plan that is reflective of its own
perception of strengths and needs.
